Incident: Pedestrian Killed in Motor Vehicle Crash
Location: Horseblock Road, Near Waverly Avenue, Farmingville

Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a pedestrian in Farmingville last night.


Robert Milano was driving a 2017 Toyota Prius eastbound on Horseblock Road, near Waverly Avenue, when his vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking in the road at approximately 10:20 p.m.


The victim, Daniel Fehringer, 22, of Farmingville, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. Milano, 47, of Selden, was not injured.


The Toyota was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
