Incident: Man Seriously Injured in Motor Vehicle Crash
Location: Depot Road and Caldwell Street, Huntington Station
Date/Time: Friday, October 5, 2018 at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Second Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a man in Huntington Station tonight.


A 60-year-old Huntington Station man operating a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser southbound on Depot Road struck a 20017 Jeep Wrangler, being driven northbound on Depot Road by Meryl Kessler tonight at approximately 7:15 p.m.


The man driving the Chrysler was transported to Huntington Hospital with a serious head injury. Kessler, 54, of Huntington, was transported to Huntington Hospital with minor injuries. The man’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.


Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
