Incident: 17-Year-Old Male Arrested After Stabbing Man
Location: Parking Lot of CVS, 111 Terry Road, Nesconset
Date/Time: Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at approximately 10:25

Suffolk County Police last night arrested a juvenile male for assault after he stabbed a man in Nesconset earlier in the evening.


A 17-year-old stabbed a 19-year-old in the chest following a dispute in the parking lot of CVS, located at 111 Terry Road, at approximately 8:15 p.m. The victim then walked into CVS, where an employee called 911. The victim was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.   


Following an investigation, police arrested the 17-year-old a short distance from the scene at approximately 10:25 p.m. Fourth Squad detectives charged the suspect with Assault 2nd Degree. He is being held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 2.



A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
