Incident: Man Dies in House Fire
Location: 596 North Kings Ave., Lindenhurst
Date/Time: Sunday, May 17, 2020 at approximately 3:10 a.m.
 
 

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad and Arson Section detectives are investigating a house fire that killed a man in Lindenhurst early this morning.

 

First Precinct officers responded to the home at 596 North Kings Ave. at approximately 3:10 a.m. after a 911 caller reported a fire at the location. Upon police arrival, two residents, a man and woman, had escaped the home. Their son, Gioacchino Pagano, 28, was located deceased in his bedroom after the fire was extinguished.

 

A preliminary investigation has determined the cause of the fire to be non-criminal in nature.
