Incident: Woman Arrested During Massage Parlor Raid
Location: Feet Heaven, 420 Hawkins Ave., Lake Ronkonkoma, New York
Date/Time: Monday, December 4, 2017, at approximately 4 p.m.

Suffolk County Police today arrested a woman during a raid at a massage parlor in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York.


In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers, Suffolk County Police Criminal Intelligence detectives, Town of Brookhaven building inspectors and fire marshals, in conjunction with agents from the U.S. department of Homeland Security, conducted an investigation into illegal activities at Feet Heaven, located at 420 Hawkins Ave., at approximately 4 p.m.


During an investigation conducted by the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal and Building Inspector, 12 town and state code violations were discovered resulting in the location being condemned and deemed unfit for human occupancy.


Yakun Wang, 44, of Flushing, was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a Class E Felony under the New York State Education law.


Wang was issued a court date to appear at First District Court in Central Islip, on February 7, 2018. The investigation is continuing.


A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
