Incident: Man Robs Mastic Bank
Location: HSBC, 1718 Montauk Highway, Mastic, New York
Date/Time: Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at approximately 1:20 p.
Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred today in Mastic, New York.

A man entered the HSBC bank, located at 1718 Montauk Highway, at approximately 1:20 p.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer.  The suspect fled the bank on foot and was last seen heading eastbound on Montauk Highway.


The suspect was described as a light-skinned Hispanic male in his 20s with dark hair, medium build and average height. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with a GAP logo in front, ripped blue jeans and blue sneakers.


The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to call Major Case Unit detectives at 631-852-6555 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
